Grateful for Work

We spend many of our waking hours at work. When you got up this morning and hopped into the shower, were you full of anticipation for what the day might bring? Or were you dreading the possibilities? Even if you have the nastiest boss, what perk does your job give you? I am grateful to see the progress each week that my clients are making. Name one thing you can be grateful for today ___________.

A Memorable Thanksgiving Day

As you prepare for Thanksgiving Day, take the stress out of it by remembering that the day is for being grateful for our blessings. Instead of trying to have a picture perfect dinner with a fabulous table setting, sharing time with your family and friends makes it memorable, even if you mess up a recipe. Your kids, whether young or grown, will not remember some gourmet meal, but they sure will remember a decent dinner made will laughter and love.

Gratitude can not only increase your happiness, but can have health benefits too. When faced with a negative conversation, turn it around by making a conscious effort to think in positive terms. What can I learn from this? How was this beneficial to someone? Be encouraging in the conversation and grateful for being a part of the process or solution. You will enjoy happiness by counting your blessings.
